Passenger Service, Cargo, and Ground Operations Safety Course

Planned so as to prepare staff from airlines, air transportation auxiliary service companies, and airport administrations to apply the civil aviation safety procedures for passenger departure and landing, operational ramp activities, and air cargo operations.

This course may be provided in modules (Passenger Service, Cargo, and Ground Operations). Taking one of this course’s modules exempts employees from taking the Familiarization course

The target audience consists in staff from airlines, air transportation auxiliary service companies, airport administrations, and Concessionaires who perform passenger service; handling, maintenance, fueling, and cleaning; air cargo operations; aircraft fueling; and aircraft supply service activities.

This course may be provided in modules (Service Passenger, Cargo, and Ground Operations) as long as the minimum hours of each module are observed. Taking one of this course’s modules exempts employees from taking the Familiarization course.

If the course is provided as modules, the target audience will be:
I – Passenger Service: all employees who provide direct service to passengers, including airlines’ administration staff assigned to airports, check in agents, airline agent, and others at ANAC’s (National Civil Aviation Agency – Brazil) discretion;
Total hours: 08 hours

II- Cargo Safety: personnel engaged in any type of air cargo operation;
Total hours: 06 hours

III- OIII – Ground Operations: personnel engaged in handling services, airline agents, catering and cleaning services, aircraft fueling and maintenance services, among others.
Total hours: 06 hours

Purpose:
Upon conclusion, the student should be able to identify and apply the civil aviation safety procedures during his/her work activities.

Requirements for registration:
a) have concluded elementary education;
b) present proof of employment; and
c) present a criminal background check or a declaration from the airport’s accreditation department
